Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. today officially released its new Elite A-20 integrated amplifier designed for the true 2-channel music enthusiast. The new analog-only amplifier includes six audio inputs, with the ability to accurately reproduce content from sources such as Pioneer’s Elite® networked audio players, the N-30 or N-50.
“We’ve seen a recent resurgence in 2-channel audio and a movement towards bringing back music to its pure stereo form,” Chris Walker, director of AV marketing and product planning for the Home Electronics Division of Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. “With its superior build and design elements, the A-20 is able to maintain the fidelity of the original audio and provide users with exceptional sound quality and a comprehensive music experience.”
The amplifier uses a Direct Energy design that features shorter signal paths and power train to help minimize signal loss that can degrade the quality of audio, as well as strategically placed power supply/output circuit blocks to reproduce a cleaner audio output with reduced total harmonic distortion of less than 0.05%. Unwanted vibration from the transformer is dampened with a trans-stabilizer construction chassis design, resulting in consistent audio performance. Additionally, the amplifier features aluminum front and side panels for rigidity and durability, increasing the stability of the unit for superior sound performance, as well as for cosmetic appeal.
